This is the second or third time I've heard Rundgang Um Die Transzendentale Säule Der Singularität which seems to loosely translate to 25 minutes of the same note 3 notes played over and over again with an occasional chord on a synth.

I'm not so crazy about stuff like this playing :P

the track "Gebrechlichkeit I" has a bunch of chops in it - I can provide a non choppy version if you want, since it sounds like the cd is scratched

Would you add Burzum/Aske if I sent in the cd? I'm not sure where the case is for it, but i can probably find a cd case i'm not using atm.

Don't bother, Burzum is slow and boring...

Not all Burzum is slow. I can only think of one song on Burzum / Aske that may not fit Death.FM.

Personally, I think that Burzum would be a great addition to Death.FM - "Burzum/Aske" is one of the most beautiful black metal albums I've ever heard. Yes, it's raw, and perhaps some may find it "boring," but the impact that Burzum has had upon the black metal scene is undeniable, and warrants the inclusion of the music on here so that a wider spectrum of people may hear it. Varg's personal ideologies nonwithstanding, there is no actual NS content in Burzum's lyrics; why should it the man's beliefs be taken into account when judging the merit of his work? Many bands played on here have decidedly different worldviews than that of the majority of the poulation, yet they are given a chance. It's not fair to shut out Burzum just because Varg's beliefs make some people uncomfortable.

I say, add Burzum to the playlist - I've got several albums, and am happy to provide songs if needs be.

Well, I took a listen and I'm going to decline. The production is just not good enough and there are a lot of repetitive and ambient tracks. Not fond of the vocals either. I added Filosofem to the playlist because I thought it had some good atmospheric elements to it. Now it's starting to wear on me a bit. Thanks for the offer but no for now.

Rolling Eyes

I don't think i'll be returning here, especially when fundamental bands such as Burzum aren't added to the playlist because of personal preference. For people to say that this band is boring, etc. further shows I'm wasting my time here.

Sorry to waste so much of your time here Skull_Rot. Sorry to see you go. It's a shame that something so trivial such as adding 1 CD could make you go somewhre else.

once again, Burzum is NOT a NSBM band - i.e. not a "Nazi band." i can't imagine how anyone could find them to be boring, but i guess it's up to personal preference. i'm disappointed in your verdict on 'Burzum'/'Aske,' but i'm sure that if you give it another listen, you'll realize how amazing it really is. the production's lo-fo and raw, but come on - that's Black Metal!
