Yes it is political and the guy is a total idiot. Do some research misan, he has done more for our country than Carter, Reagan, Bush 1 and Clinton combined.
And this type of topic is just inflamatory, we've been over this ground before. Locked. _________________ Not dead, just sleeping.

I agree with cj (except for the Reagan part and the locking part). I'm going to open this back up to see if you all can handle this like adults. Please see the following announcement before proceeding.

I welcome that decision JERIC, so opening this back up is AOK by me. Was just going by old guidelines that existed till a few minutes ago. _________________ Not dead, just sleeping.

I think the shoe thrower is funny! He should get into politics. If you personally think he's a twat then you should agree he needs to enter politics because that in itself is full of the biggest twats on the planet.
Never again will I post in a political thread!
*Can you add a poll to this so we can vote on wether the guy is kvlt or a kvnt! _________________ Its a trick.......get an axe! |

I thought this was hilarious!!! I heard about this and thought it was funny, not just because it was Bush, but because someone took the time to take off BOTH shoes and try to throw them at the US President!!! My big question is Where was the Secret Service?
BTW - Quick reaction from Bush was nice!!! He would be a worthy opponent in a boxing match with that reaction time! _________________ - Does this hurt ? -

Officials Say Bush 'Shoe-Thrower' Asks for Pardon
Quote: |
A spokesman for Iraq's prime minister says the journalist who threw his shoes at President George W. Bush has asked for a pardon.
Spokesman Yassin Majid says that in a letter sent Thursday to Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki the journalist described his behavior as "an ugly act" and asked to be pardoned. |

The only thing that made it possible for him to throw the shoes is the freedom that was brought to Iraq. If he even thought about doing that before they would have gutted him and chopped his head off before he could. |

Looks like another attack, prediction: 3rd period in office (emergency case,
if you call for him he can hear you), declaration of war against all shoes of
mass destruction producing / selling countries, nothing will happen except
more targeting practice on GI's as usual. *yawn*
Voted kvnt 'cause that guy completely failed and even worse is begging for mercy now.
This is not the right way to criticize, just caveman's behaviour.
CJ is completely right btw, more debts, dead soldiers, attacks on American territory,
questionable elections, unemployment rate (highest in last 15 years, guess who
was responsible) and laughter about the country than all of the others together.
Current stats rapidly increasing,
Quote: |
The Boston Globe: The national unemployment rate rose last month at the fastest pace in 26 years, foreshadowing what economists fear could be the biggest increase in joblessness since the recession of the 1970s. |
http://www.france24.com/en/20081205-usa-reaches-highest-unemployment-rate-15-years-united-states
Laudable performance, isn't it?
@ CJ: your sentence "the guy is a total idiot" left some space for a second
interpretation.
