Thought of this out of the blue.
We should organize a day dedicated to having all requests being made from the least played random track function. It would be fun and interesting and it would also promote songs that don't get played, as well as put some freshness in the queue. We could probably do it once a month, too.
Thoughts?

The reason they dont get played is probably not to many like them. So having a day where theses "unpopular" songs or albums get played could do harm.
If there are entire albums that arent getting played or getting not more then 5 plays i think the should be removed out right. |

Sounds reasonable - i am requesting mostly LPRT death / brutal death songs these days anyway.

At SST (StreamingSoundtracks.com), the 1st Thursday of every month is Random Track Day. It's to get the little played tracks some more plays. And we find some gems (and not so gems sometimes). It's a huge library and just because it doesn't get played, doesn't mean it's bad. It's just that people tend to stick to what they know and rolling the dice once in a while is fun.
