I don't see a problem with it. I'd rather someone be requesting than having the system do it. |

restrictions are no solution. Was done other time on death.fm often, but it only produces new problems. |

I would say that if same guy makes 5-10 pics, creating individual stream of similar songs, it migh be irritating. So what I am up for is to try to limit these consecutive queues for excamble to bush some random tracks in between. I sugges that 3 songs / user in a row, and that would be the only limitation... _________________ i am so ebil that i piss darkness |

there must be a way to attatch a genre filter to the thread? that way you'd have a no repeat genre rotation system. it is difficult to get this right because extreme metal is the baby of smart people who aren't willing to listen to other peoples shit music. personally im more inclined to Black Metal and less to Grind but it needs a lot of variety to keep everyone happy, especially with over 10,000 members now. its an imperfect system, but currently it works pretty well |

IMO this thread should be locked & graved. We have enough people requesting for quite sometime now to ensure that a single member is not filling up the queue. In fact I haven't seen the system/admin request songs for quite a long time (except maybe during the weekends).

Agree, 2 1/2 Qs are the norm lately, which kind of sucks for us doomsters but helps with this problem. _________________ Not dead, just sleeping.

Used to be just the day, now it goes well into the evening, past the point where I'm wanting to be on the internet. _________________ Not dead, just sleeping.

If someone pays for a service, i think there must be "rules" but no restrictions about requests. For non RIP's interesting matter to become a RIP member for request more often. _________________ ----------------

i dont think this is a problem
the real problem is when a member request 2 or 3 song of 8+ min
that is a problem |
